Gaming PC builds start to get interesting once you enter the Rs. 1,00,000 price range, as many doors, open up owing to a thicker budget. But, the coronavirus pandemic has seriously affected the prices of components, especially in GPU and CPU departments.
With inflated prices owing to supply shortages thanks to the global pandemic, it’s likely that prices of some components on this list might be sky-high. For some fair play, I have considered the retail and the usual market price of the components for this build.
Note :- Please search the pricing of these component in your local market well.
AMD’s processors have gotten very good and are easily the go-to choice for laymen and enthusiasts alike. The Ryzen 5 3600 is a tried and tested 65W chip that’s been around for a while and increases the chances of you getting hold of it for a decent price that much more likely. The 6 core 12 thread processor is a good VFM choice for this build. However, keep in mind that overclocking headroom can be an issue.
It is a Very good motherboard with out of the box ryzen 3000 support. If you are a gamer that wants to use an A320m motherboard, then this is probably going to be one of your better options. The RAM can be overclocked as well, to about 3200 MHz in the BIOS, which will help to boost the performance. This can help with streaming.
I prefer to go for a split set-up when it comes to RAM. I would take 2 sticks of memory instead of one. Talking about the Vengeance LPX, its a neat and simple looking DIMM, devoid of any RGB frills. But it more than makes up for it when it comes to performance. 15.45GB/s single-thread bandwidth figure stands to be the best and it scores handsomely well. This makes it a perfect fit for our gaming PC.
The AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT is one such example. For 1080p gaming, it is definitely a worthy card. It's good for 1080p gaming and is more efficient than the RX 580 and RX 590. Nvidia's 1660 lineup might be more powerful, but for people going for an all AMD build, the 5500 XT will still get the job done well.
NVMe enables drives to benefit from the same “pool” of lanes that directly connect to the CPU. That offers a scalable performance by going beyond the conventional four lanes found in most PCIe SSDs and utilize them for added performance. PCIe sockets transfer more than 25 times more data than their SATA equivalent.
It will still allow you to save a good amount of games on it. For those who are not looking to game seriously, a 1TB HDD is a significant amount to have. If you are looking to take gaming more seriously, you will likely benefit from a larger storage capacity and an SSD instead of a HDD too.
The power supply is the most under looked component of a build, while it shouldn’t be. It’s what regulates power into your components, so getting a reliable PSU is much more important than many people think. For a decent build like this, at least a Bronze certified PSU is recommended. As for power consumption, 500W will be enough for this build. Looking at options, the Cooler Master Elite 500 is one of the better ones, so we’ll be going with that.
