Best Gaming PC Setup Under Rs. 1,50,000. Updated 2021

With a budget of 150K, you can build a decent gaming PC setup that’s capable of pushing 60+ FPS across all modern titles at 1440p and 1080p video editing. For this setup we’ll be going with a Intel 10th gen chip paired with an Nvidia Turing-based GTX GPU. So let’s get right into it!

In this build we will be building a gaming pc and looking at all the peripherals Under 150k. If you search in your local market you can get these components at even cheaper prices. So please do a good research before building the pc.

Let's start with the pc Build

CPU – Intel i5-10400

Intel’s new Core i5-10400 is a locked 6-core, 12-thread processor that operates at between 2.9 GHz and 4.3 GHz depending on the workload. The reason the base clock is so low relative to the i5-10600K is that the TDP rating has dropped from 125 watts down to just 65 watts. However, the vast majority of Z490 motherboards don’t enforce the TDP limits.

Memory–Corsair Vengeance Lpx Ram Ddr4 8gbx2 3000mhz.

The Corsair Vengeance LPX 2 x 8GB is the best high-end DDR4 kit we found on the market. This high-end kit is designed around performance rather than aesthetics, and is certainly the best when it comes to high-end speed and performance.

Graphics Card – ZOTAC GAMING GeForce GTX 1660

The Zotac GTX 1660 is a 1080p-capable card able to average 60 fps or more across most titles tested. The card is SFF-friendly and quiet under load but, the price is a bit high.

The GTX 1660 is based on the Turing architecture and uses a variant of the TU116 silicon found in the GTX 1660 and 1660 Ti, just like the 1660 Super. As with other GTX-branded cards, there’s no
RTX support here for ray tracing. The TU116 die is manufactured on the 12nm FFN (FinFET Nvidia) process by TSMC, consists of 6.6 billion transistors and measures in at 284 mm². The GTX 1660 brings 1,408 cores, 88 TMUs and 40 ROPS which is cut down from the full TU116 variant found in the GTX 1660 Ti. The Ti version is 1,536 cores, 96 TMUs, and 48 ROPs.

Storage – KINGSTON SSDNOW UV400 480GB SSD.

A good PC calls for good storage. Not only in terms of capacity, but also in proper read/write speeds, TBW and quality standards. With a decent budget of 120K, opting for an SSD is the clear choice. With read speeds upto 550MB/s and a 1 year warranty. With the 500GB into your boot drive, you’ll still have most of the drive empty for a decent amount of games. That coupled with a 1 terabyte of Seagate Barracuda should be enough for all your storage needs.

PSU – Cooler Master Watt Elite 500W

The power supply is the most under looked component of a build, while it shouldn’t be. It’s what regulates power into your components, so getting a reliable PSU is much more important than many people think. For a decent build like this, at least a Bronze certified PSU is recommended. As for power consumption, 500W will be enough for this build. Looking at options, the Cooler Master Elite 500 is one of the better ones, so we’ll be going with that.

Case – IMPERION Kinetic 361 Tempered Glass Gaming Casing ATX Free 4 RGB Fan

Cases are the last component to pay attention to, in my opinion, and purely a personal preference as long as it ensures proper airflow and fits in all your components. As for me, I’d suggest the Imperion  Kinetic 361 Gaming Case as it easily allows your component to breathe with the mesh front panel, while looking modern (with mandatory RGB for the performance boost). The side tempered glass gives you a direct look at the inside for all your Instagram posts. The 4 RGB intake fans can also be synced to your motherboard, giving you complete control of your machine.

Now Finally our PC build is completed so now let's talk about the peripherals.
