In this post, we’ll show you how to build a 1080p capable gaming build for less than 55K. This PC should be able to run almost all modern titles at 60 FPS ultra without breaking a sweat.
Building a 1080p gaming PC these days is one of the more interesting challenges. You’ve got ample options in both the CPU as well as the GPU space, but depending on your target resolution and frame rates, it’s crucial that you opt for the right parts. In this post, we’ll put together a gaming PC, best suited for playing at 1080p with up to 100 FPS.
Let's get started!
1. AMD Ryzen 5 2600
The AMD Ryzen 5 2600 is one of the best CPUs around today, offering a high core-count, decent gaming performance, and an incredible price. The second-gen AMD Ryzen 2 processor range launched with a pair of new X-series CPUs, offering the highest clock speeds and best performance.
2.MSI A320M
While it was once designed for business owners, it is now a great home option as well. This is an extremely compatible motherboard, as the A320M Pro-M2 V2 supports socket AM4 1st and 2nd gen Ryzen CPUs, DDR4 memory up to 3200 MHz, and an M. 2 slot for PCIe NVMe SSDs.
3. 4GB Ddr3 Ram*2
Technically there isn't going to be too much RAM for your system unless you have bought more than the motherboard can handle. As mentioned, 8GB of RAM is great for gaming as many, if not all, games will run well at this RAM capacity. There are specific cases for 16GB of RAM and higher being ideal for gamers.
4. ASUS GeForce GT 1030
The ASUS GeForce GT 1030 is way much better in all department, and that includes doubling the frame rates in games. Of course this GPU may lag behind the latest models and expensive gaming video cards, but having this installed in my computer is a very good improvement over all. The GT 1030 could play a modest amount of games at 1080p and maintain 60 FPS.
5. Storage
A good PC calls for good storage. Not only in terms of capacity, but also in proper read/write speeds, TBW and quality standards. With a decent budget of 55K, opting for an SSD is the clear choice. With read speeds up to 550MB/s and a 1 year warranty. With the 120GB into your boot drive, you’ll still have most of the drive empty for a decent amount of games. That coupled with a 1 terabyte of Seagate Barracuda should be enough for all your storage needs.
6.Computer Casing With 450W Power Supply
This is a tight budget build so we cannot expect a good looks. This build does not need high power so to save money we are going with a combo. You can easily get these combo in local market at around 3,500.
